The Parish Council is responsible for:

  • amenity land at Edingthorpe

  • Bacton playing field

  • the allotments

  • commenting on planning applications

  • the village notice board

  • general maintenance around the village

PLAN FOR THE LAND GIFTED FROM  FLAGSHIP -  106 AGREEMENT

The Council has now submitted to NNDC Planning the reserved matters  application.

We now need to wait for the permission to be permitted by the Planning Team.

​BACTON PAVILION AND CONTAINER

Work has now commenced on the development of the Pavilion into a small cafe with outside seating.  The blue container will be utilised by the business to support with housing ancillary items.

ADDITIONAL PLAY EQUIPMENT AND ADDITIONAL ALLOTMENTS

The new play equipment has been installed and seems to be well utilised by the Children.

BACTON EX BOWLS CLUB AREA

This space has now been cleared and fenced to enable it to become a community allotment/orchard to benefit the residents of Bacton.

Councillors who stood in May 2023 and were elected are:

Susan Holden, Richard Kimble, Jan Rush, Coral Salih and Ian Witham - who we welcome to the team.  We have recently co-opted Stephen Humphreys-White, Gill Cullingford and Lynn Day.
